The hinge for the Smeg oven ensures the door opens and closes smoothly. If the hinge is faulty, the door may hang unevenly, not close properly, or fall down. This can cause heat loss, uneven baking results, and longer cooking times.
When the hinge is folded, there is 120 mm from the centre of the mounting hole to the point where the hinge arm stands perpendicular to the base part of the hinge.
If your Smeg model has two ovens, the hinge fits the smaller oven.
