Dryer balls for your tumble dryer lifts and separates your laundry, which helps prevent wet clothes clumping together. The disadvantage of large clumps of wet clothes is, of course, that the drying time is prolonged, as the hot air has difficulty penetrating and drying the clothes properly. So, when using drying balls, the drying time can be reduced – in some cases up to 25% - because the dryer balls separate the clothes during tumbling.
