Filter cannot be removedThe washing machine's filter is carefully unscrewed from the pump by hand when it needs to be cleaned. If the filter is difficult to get out, it is typically due to a foreign object being stuck – e.g., a hairpin, sock, screw, nut, etc. In this case, you will rarely be able to get the filter out by hand, and you will typically have to resort to the use of tools (e.g., parrot nose pliers). However, be aware that the filter probably won’t be able to withstand this. Therefore – if you choose to use tools – you will often also have to replace the filter. You can find a new filter for your washing machine here. Be aware that when buying a new filter for your washing machine, it is not enough just to go by the model number. You will often also have to compare the appearance of the old filter, with the one you see in our pictures. The fault may also occur if the filter has been overtightened. You can try to pry it out gently while turning the handle of the filter. But still, you may need to resort to tools as indicated above. 1 |
