If the washing machine is spinning with a high water level in the drum it may be due to one of the following:

• There may be an issue with the pressure switch (also called level control) or the level hose. The level hose is a thin hose, which runs from the pump or the sump hose to the pressure switch. The pressure switch normally prevents the washing machine starting to spin before all the water has been drained, but this can fail due to dirt or a fault in the electronics. If the pressure switch is defective, you can purchase a pressure switch for your washing machine here.
• If you did not find the issue above, another possible fault could be with the control unit. If the control unit is defective, you can purchase a new control unit for your washing machine here.
