If the washing machine retrieves soap from the wrong compartments, only takes some of the soap or takes none at all, it may be due to one of the following:

• The fault may be caused by low water pressure. Check the water pressure by removing the washing machines inlet hose, place the hose in a bucket and make sure that water pressure is OK.
• The fault may be due to a calcified water distributor. The water distributor is placed above the soap drawer. If this is calcified, the water will squirt in a wrong direction and this can cause the soap to not be used up or that the soap is used too early in the program.
• The fault may be due to a defective diverter valve. This function can differ from washing machine to washing machine. The diverter valve can be either electronic, mechanic or there can be a nozzle for each soap department. If the diverter valve is defective, the machine will usually only retrieve the soap from the same department, but this can also be caused by calcification as described above.
